As the Company of Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield, and accompanied by Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, venture deeper into the unknown, they face numerous challenges on their perilous quest to reclaim their treasure from the clutches of the dragon Smaug. Having narrowly escaped the perils of the Misty Mountains, the fellowship continues its journey across treacherous landscapes, encountering a host of strange and wondrous creatures along the way. As they near the Lonely Mountain, they are met with a surprise attack by giant spiders, led by the terrifying Shelob. Bilbo's quick thinking and resourcefulness allow him to outwit the monstrous arachnids and save his companions from certain doom.
